Afterwards, step out and explore the Srinagar, is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir and is one of the major tourist destinations in India. It is well known for the beautiful Mughal gardens, subtle lakes and the striking boat houses in the backdrop of the scenic view of the hills and the ranges. While walking on this road, you can also enjoy the stunning views of the Zabarwan Mountain Ranges along with a 1 hours Shikara Ride in the Dal Lake. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, is scheduled for a day visit to Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. We arrive at a small picturesque market town of Tangmarg and drive ahead on a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. It has world highest Golf Course and Gulmarg is also famous for winter sports skiing. One can take the Gondola Ride (optional tour) up to Alapather via Khilanmarg. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour or so and later do some Horse Riding (own cost) to the strawberry valley. Return back to Srinagar. After a wholesome dinner, retire to the room and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the houseboat.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the houseboat and get started driving towards to your onward journey.
